We can offer a full range of computer related services to home users and small businesses for your laptop, standalone or networked computer.
Working at your premises only applies to customers who are resident in the Isle of Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh area.
To protect your important information in the way of emails, downloads, data and photographs when working at our workshop we take images of hard drives prior to any work commencing, this safegaurds your data whilst working with your system. Once you receive your computer back we hold the image for 1 week, if you find any data missing we can retrieve it for you. After the week the image is permanantly erased.

Computer/Laptop/Printer Repair - Workshop/Premises.

| Not sure whats wrong with your computer, we can help. We can diagnose and repair all sorts of hardware and software problems, so if your computer shows any of the following symptoms, unexplained crashing or restarting, blue screens, error messages as the machine start-up or as Windows starts, no power, freezing or hanging, internet/email problems or just running sluggishly slow then we will
be able to help you get your computer back up and running as quickly as possible.

| Broadband Installation - Premises Only. | |
| I can come to your premises and set up your Broadband connection for you as well as ensuring you have anti-virus, firewall and spyware software running to protect your computer. This is a fixed rate fee.

| Wireless or Wired Network Installation - Premises Only.
| |
Having a wireless network at home avoids the need for messy wires. It makes it easy to share an Internet connection and allows you to surf from the comfort of your armchair or other rooms. Wireless networks should be set up correctly. There's a risk that you can leave yourself and your computers exposed to hackers and your personal data could be compromised. I can set up all your computers to access the wireless network safely and securely. If you need a firewall and anti-virus to safeguard against any attacks, these can be installed as well.

| Operating System Reinstallation/Repairs - Workshop

There are occasions when it is quicker and easier to reinstall Windows on a clean hard drive. This will improve the speed of your computer. As we use images before commencing work, all your data and settings can be copied over once Windows and the relevant service packs have been installed. You must have the original software CD`s and licenses to install after this is done. Eg. Office, Works or any other programs.

| Data Transfer - Workshop or Premises

| If you need help in moving your old photos, documents, etc from an old PC to a newer one then this shoudnt be a problem. Some older computers or laptops may not support USB devices or CD/DVD writers. We can still copy your data from your old system to your new one. If you have any questions give us a ring.

| Hardware/Software Installation - Workshop or Premises

We can advise on and install all types of hardware/software to ensure you get the correct and best value upgrades to give you the best performance. So if your computer is struggling to keep up with the latest software or games, need more memory, or you are running out of hard drive space or are looking at upgrading your graphics card, CD/DVD drive then give us a ring.

| Removal of your old computers - Premises Only
| |
If you have old equipment you no longer need from laptops, computers, monitors, other hardware or software, I can arrange to upload it from your premises for no charge. Hard Drives can be secure wiped using any of 6 pass methods so that data cannot be recovered. This is a free service for home users.
